Aqueduct

This aqueduct was finished in 1998, for the 2000th anniversary of Strasbourg. It has been designed by Tomi Ungerer. Das Aquädukt wurde zum 2000-Jahr-Stadtjubiläum 1998 fertiggestellt. Das Denkmal mit dem doppelgesichtigen Januskopf im Brunnenbecken wurde von Tomi Ungerer entworfen.

Ancienne Douane - Customs house

This impressive former department store at the Raven Bridge is today a good restaurant. During the Middle Ages, it was a warehouse for taxable products.

The Raven Bridge (Pont du Corbeau, Schintbrück)

In the Middle Ages, criminals were executed at this bridge.

The town hall: Hôtel de Ville

The historic town hall at the Place Broglie was built during the 30's of the 18 century by Joseph Massol. Its original name is "Hanauer Hof" and it was planned for the earl of Hanau-Lichtenberg.

The sculptures by Jean Arp

Jean Arp (1887 - 1966) was a german painter, sculptor and poet. Three of his statues made of stone and bronze can be found in the district Esplanade.
